Privacy Policy

Polsa is a free, community-built Rocket League app with two parts: an esports tracker that needs nothing from you, and an optional friends feed that needs a little. This policy explains exactly what “a little” means.
The tracker needs no account
Everything on the esports side - schedules, brackets, standings, rosters, transfers, streams and clips - works with no account, no sign-in, and no personal information. If you never create an account, we hold nothing about you.
If you create an account
Accounts exist only to power the friends feed. When you sign up we store:
- Your handleand display name - the handle is public by design (it’s how friends find you).
- Your password - stored only as a salted, peppered cryptographic hash. We cannot read it, and a copy of our database alone cannot reveal it.
- An email address, only if you choose to give one, used solely for account recovery. We never send marketing and never share it.
If you link the desktop overlay
The optional Windows overlay uploads gameplay stats to your account: per-match results (goals, assists, saves, shots, score, demos, MVP, fastest goal, match times) and - while Rocket League is running - a “playing now” heartbeat with the live score. That’s the entire list. Video clips you record stay on your PC unless a future version adds sharing, in which case uploading will be an explicit per-clip choice.
None of this is collected unless you install the overlay and link it to your account yourself.
Who can see your activity
You control visibility in the app: followers-only (the default - only people you approve by being followed), public, or private(only you). We also store who you follow, since that’s what a feed is.
No ads, analytics, or data sales
Polsa contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party tracking software. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Where your data lives
Account and stats data is stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider) and served from api.polsa.appover encrypted connections. Requests carry only what any web request does (such as your device’s IP address, used transiently to serve the response and protect the service from abuse) - we don’t retain it for analytics or profiling. Public esports data is relayed from start.gg, blast.tv, and Liquipedia.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Feed → your profile → Delete account. This immediately and permanently removes your account and everything attached to it - stats, follows, linked devices, and any email you provided. Your handle becomes available again. If you ever can’t use the app, emailing support@polsa.app with your handle works too.
Links to other services
Polsa links out to streams and videos on Twitch and YouTube. When you open one, you leave Polsa and that service’s own privacy policy applies. We have no control over, and take no responsibility for, those services.
Children
Polsa is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not intended for them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Continued use of the app means you accept the current version.
